Aikido in Northwest Portland/Pearl District
At this time, we are offering outdoor weapons classes and online classes only, due to the governor's executive order to limit covid-19 exposure
We feel compelled to add our voice to the ongoing call for justice and equality in our country and against systemic racism and police brutality. Portland Aikikai actively stands against any racism or structural oppression. Our dojo is a diverse community and we vow to continue to work towards greater inclusion. As aikidoka we acknowledge our privilege and use our platform to raise others up. Our mat is a shared space and without justice, there can be no harmony. Many of our members have joined in protests and we encourage you all to reach out if you wish to stand in solidarity together as a dojo and aikidoka.
